The owner of the 'bosdev' EZBoard has been
cheating, and worse, has been cheating with *our*
words.
If you take a moment to observe the postings at
http://pub68.ezboard.com/bosdev
you will find that they will seem eerily
familiar. Furthermore, not only are they all from
'unregistered users', but the timestamps are all
suspiciously close together, as if they had been
added in sequence. The damning note comes from a
message in the Kernel topic page, where the
*original* timestamp from when it was posted to
osdev.org was accidentally posted with the
message itself, showing clearly that the message
was posted two days earlier.
In other words, the moderator is salting the
fnords^Wboards, and using messages posted on
'rival' boards to do it (why rivals? There should
be room enough for everyone, but the moderator
there doesn't seem to think so...).
I thought that the people of these two boards
should be made aware of this perfidy, and proceed
to punish the purpetrator in the best way
possible: by ridiculing them in public, and
ignoring their boards.
I mock thee for thy insolence! MOCK! MOCK! MOCK!
Dirty pool, old man!

First of all let me make something clear...
1) I do not see my self as the "owner" of the message board at pub68.ezboard.com/bosdev. If anyone wants to be moderators they can get that status (although only one moderator pr. forum).
2) Concerning the replicated messages at the new message board was only done by me to test how everythings works like: is it possible to post messages without having to create an account.
This also let me to the discovery that you are only allowed to post one message per. minute.
3) What rivalery??? There was no response from the owner of the message board and I have never seen any indication of who owns this message board. THerefore I came to the conclusion that it was dead and I am only interested in helping other people and myself to get a better message board.
---
If this really is such a big problem for other people to accept that my only interest is to have a message board that is useable then that is not my problem. That is up to people to decide for themself.
Just look at your own email, it has been duplicated three times.
---
Your last remark definitely show how old you are.

RE:Dirty pool, old man!
*sigh* I had thought that my rather whimsical
approach would have made it clear that I wasn't
very serious about the issue. I simply thought
that some of the posters would not appreciate
it, and should know; I personally was more amused
than offended.
As for the duplication, that is a known flaw in
the board system that the moderator is trying
to fix. Duplication bugs of this kind exist in
many fora systems, though this one admittedly is
particularly prone to it.
