I am 33 years old, and have been puttering about with OS and language design issues on and off for about a decade; I have spent a great deal of time studying the matter, but have done pitifully little coding, I am afraid.

I'm 22 and, like Schol-R-LEA, have been experimenting with OS and language design for a while (the past 5 years anyway). I've known _Intel_ ASM for about 7 years, and before that, Atari 800 ASM
I'm also a brittle, ex-drug-abusing, tempermental little ***** lol

I'm 17. I've been programming C since I was about 14. My
asm experience is only a year or two old, though.

I'm 22. I know assembler since 4 years (x86, z80, and some of microcontrollers), but my OS will be made in my own high level language, wich is still in develop!

RE:How old are you guys ?
25 myself.
Did things like Logo and Pascal as a teeenager but didn't really pick up C and Assembly till about 4 years ago. I picked up Java about 2 years ago and teach that for a living now.

RE:How old are you guys ?
I'm 17. Been programming for about 5 years, known C for about 2 years and asm for about 4 months.
OS wise I'm building up my knowledge and plan to jump in and start making a basic test OS to prove to myself I can do it
within the next few months.
Also I'm working as part of an OS being made as part of a team effort. (However no website or name yet, just a few programmers and an IRC room)

RE:How old are you guys ?
I'm 16 and I have quite a long history with BASIC, including all the usual ones (ie BASIC, QBASIC, Visual Basic). I started with C++ about half way through last year and started on ASM towards the end of last year. Most of what I've learned has come through working on my OS project and conversations on the boards at flashdaddee.com.
RE:How old are you guys ?
22 Here and I've been programing since I was 14 that is with something other then basic.
