anyway, I am on the way to upload a new release with a kind of vga text drawing (no no windowing yet, it only draws text on the screen) and the font has to be completed yet. The other thing I am working on: variable framebuffer location. At the moment, the location of the framebuffer is hardcoded into the kernel. a possible way is to have the mem-server record this location after startup of the vm86 task - just place a message into it's mailbox to have it fetch the adress (it's communication with the video driver) of the framebuffer and register it. each other process gets its page directory from the mm server ... so I think this is the right way to do it.
@pype: as soon as I find time between work and home business duties (cleaning the flat, cooking, dishwashing ...) I'll redo the vm86 related part of the kernel so that the identifiers are in english language.
