You're gonna have to be more specific dude... this whole
site is all about hints, tips and help on OSDev! :)

Check the links above, there's tons of good info
up there, or, if you've got a more specific
question, give us another post.

In relation to OSDev!? That's still a _huge_ topic.
One could go one for hours and still not give
out any information that you we're looking for.

OSs and games pretty much boils down to speed,
which means you need a low level graphics library,
and an OpenGL implementation (or similar). Good
support for sound cards, etc...
That's my opinion, anyway... 'course, this is
probably not what you're looking for...

I don't quite understand your later question. Do
you mean to port current languages to a new
operating system?

You can either rewrite them entirely, or cross-
compile them. There's a bunch of tools on the 'net
for that kind of thing. Basically, a cross-
compiler is one that runs on OS A, but creates
binaries to be run on OS B. By recompiling the
compiler itself, you know have a compiler the
runs on OS B, and outputs binaries to OS B.

Cool, kid, perhaps you should create a freemail-account!

What am I supposed to do? Post all of my
code? Wrong, try again...

If this kid is serious about designing an OS then
he should be afraid of giving out his email
address. He should just create a little hotmail
account and have people email him to that address.
But whats the point of having an email address if
you can't use it?
