BOOT FLOPY DISK?

HELLO:
I WRITE A BOOT STARTUP,AND USE DEBUG WRITE IT TO
FLOPY DISK ,AND BOOT FLOPY DISK,IT IS SUCCESS,BUT
IN WINDOW98,THE SYSTEM IS NOT READ FLOPY,AND DEBUG CANT WRITE FLOPLY DISK ,SO I MUST FORMAT A:
AND REWRITE,WHO CAN HELP ME NOT FORMAT A AND WRITE IT

Hi, most probably there is a problem in writing exactly to firsy sector so you are disturbing fat. I suggest you to use copyboot. You can download it from http://www.ug.bcc.bilkent.edu.tr/~ozgunh/copyboot.exe
Just type copyboot at command line, it hows syntax you should use. Good luck.

your boot sector needs to have a copy of the BPB inside at the correct address, otherwise windows will say its unformatted.
