Tablet PC processors

Post by stonedzealot »

Does anyone know anything about the "new wave" tablet PCs? They have a processor type of about 800-1000Mhz called "Transmeta Crusoe" and others. Do these new processors use Intel ASM or are they a completely new (non x86 comp.) chipset?

Nevermind, answered my own question...Transmeta is the name of the company (d'oh) so I went there.

BTW...it is fully x86 compatible

Tablet PCs are to all intents and purposes laptops with detachable keyboards and extra peripherals that handle the stylus-sensitive screen and extra stuff. Standard PC operating systems will work fine there.
