Kernel Boot
Re:Kernel Boot
You either need a boot sector on a floppy disk to load it OR a program to run from DOS. Both are available from http://my.execpc.com/~geezer/johnfine/
Re:Kernel Boot

Re:Kernel Boot
you can boot with either a floppy or hard disk but using a floppy is easier cause u dont have to keep on writing ur bootsector to the HD. either ones needs a signature of 55 AA as the last two bytes of the first sector.
Re:Kernel Boot
I agree. Personally, I use a floppy because I don't want to mess up my HDD .slacker wrote: you can boot with either a floppy or hard disk but using a floppy is easier cause u dont have to keep on writing ur bootsector to the HD. either ones needs a signature of 55 AA as the last two bytes of the first sector.
