I've been lurking, reading and thinking for quite some time now, and I decided it was time to start something. I'm not quite sure what yet, but something OS related... Any other newbies out there want to work on something? I don't really like to work alone. I thought about trying to join up with an existing project, maybe just to watch the development, but I found so many unmaintained pages it's hard to tell if the projects are still active. Is there a link page of small OS's under active development?

Well, a few of us here are trying to dev an OS ID card thing that should address your problem. It will have progress,contact,developer,and other info on projects so you and other newbies could get together to start projects. We are working on it and hopefully it will be done soon.
