Second Generation OS with VR and AI...
MacroLabs(r) is a big company specalised in many computer applications and hardware devices.
Currently we are designing the biggest project in computer history. As you might know there are many
Operating Systems available. Even the new Windows XP is out. We are taking the OS era to a new generation. It will be totally differnt to current ones that we are changing the OS definition to INOX(r). This name basically complies to second generation Operating Systems with incredable AI power!
Currently we are seeking the best people in the world to join our project, to finally push the OS name out of the history and bring a New Generation
INOX to the world!
If you are interested to join the project, then please be kind to email us to the address.
If you notice, we are not currently releasing our original Company email address, for Security purposes, but we will change it later on.
When this project succeeds all our clients that helped us recieve a huge amount of money, including they will be internationaly recognised as the best developers worldwide.
So if you think you can help us and have a great amount of knowledge than please be kind to let us know, then we will contact you with futher information.
Thank You.

RE:Second Generation OS with VR and AI...
I hope you do know that true artificial intelligence (e.g. the kind of code that can
learn and grow and then procreate) is completely nonsense. It will never happen.
As for your project however, I wish you luck.

LOL. You should be glad at the visitor count, but not the spam.

This project seems far unreachable....
What is the design purpose? VR+AI? What kind of
AI? What is the use of VR? What kind of user

If it be the wonderful project, which I belive

from fantasy...talk about coding a new system - not
just proposing weird stuff without even having

Obviously because they don't have one. If they
did, people would expect content and not just this
kind of nebulous trash.

Definately. I was cracking up reading it. I'd
like to know what country the person who wrote it
is from (obviously not someplace where English is
taught well). If you grep your server logs for
their IP address you could compromise the
"security" (anonymity) of their operation (which
doesn't exist).
My guess is it's a twelve year old kid who knows
how to write hello world in visual basic.

Reply FROM MacroLabs(c)
We have obviosly expected these kind of replies from people, because obviosly it seems impossible to make. Believe it or not, it is already in progress. VR GUI is not a problem to programme, but the hardest part is AI system. Code has to be totally integrated into its self.
We won't talk about the composition of the arthitecture. As we said email us, so we can provide futher details.
Smart people won't think that this is impossible.
I Andrew the director of MLE have been programming for years and will like to design something new, something that will rip Microsoft's @$$!
Why not create something new?
Don't you think its time for a New Generation OS.
If you would like to see the technical parts of INOX than just provide us with your email.
Our webiste will not be released publicly, because of Microsoft's schemes.
This is not the only place that we are making people aware, or just getting people warmed up for this project, there are other places that we publish our announcements.
If you would like us to talk about the technical parts than do so. We will be honoured to show you, the new style of programming NG.

You are L33t d00d! Stick it to them!

Is that a question? I see no question mark.

They would haXor it!

I think everyone here would like to talk about the
technical parts, as well as have some description
of the "AI". Please do tell us.
If you want to be taken seriously, then perhaps
give us a little less marketing hype and some
more meat to prove this isn't vaporware.

yeah, yeah, that's right!! Give some snapshots!
Who care about MS's schemes? They're for kids!
You ever see Ken Thompson, Dennis Ritchie, or Linus Tarvold
worry about MS steeling their intellectual property?
At least I don't think MS have that kind of "dictatorship power"
btw:
the OS evolution already had a 2nd generation,
remember the old DOS? It was the 2nd generation
evolved from the old BASIC type system with programming
and FS process stuffed together!
and the 3rd generation is the multiuser and multitasking,
i.e. Unix
and then different GUIs marked the 4th generation,
and then age of information marked the 5th generation
And to advanced into 2nd generation again is something
that all of us here trying to find a way to do
with less time and more pleasure...and then we move
on to the GUI stuff and maybe TCP/IP or other protrocols
but AI+VR? Pardon me to say that what is the VR suppose
to do? Playing games? Ha, that's kind of bored for
a computer user!! AI? What for? Guessing what you
are thinking? uh-ha, AI to steeling your ATM deposit
and make a secret army to take over the world? Come on,
it's year of 2001 - if it's possible why did the computer
science departments, by that I mean all the students, professors,
TAs, and Ph. D's in the entire world, not think of it
and do something about it?
Well, it's because pure AI with machine is impossible!
To define the possibility, I'm just curious to know
if you can write down mathmatically the limit of y=1/x^2
as it approaches 0, in a exact number, not weird
symbols...if not uh... let's see what else mystery
that's not yet solve... chances are you're not gonna
solve it anyways...

RE:eply FROM MacroLabs(c)
I would say that the MLE is taking the privacy a
little to far and that you should give some
information i will be emailing you soon for some
information and post my analysis to the board.
As for the impossibility of PURE AI that is a
false statement and should be stricen. The word
impossible should never be used in a programmers
vocabulary. Anything is possible with correct
development strategies, time, software, and HARDWARE
did MLE ever mention x86 maybe it's for a biocomp
for all we know. God knows things have been called
impossbile in the past and have become pure
reality. We landed on the moon, and that was once
sci-fi. And saying nextgeneration is not a problem
many things say they are next-gen the problem is
proving that they really are next-gen!

That makes the use of the word impossible impossible,
and, yeah, i really have no arguments on that,
hence nothing that is not revealed we know of cannot
do such thing -- and it would really depend on the
perspective of each person to say - that if one thing
described is possible.
