Is there debug under VMWare

Post by Vitaly »

Hello

I use VMWare to test my OS.
It's much more convenient than booting and
rebooting over and over again.
But I'd like to know if there are some kind
of debugging facilities.
For eg i'd like to know if there is a CPU monitor
built-in.

thanks.

When I was still developing my OS I was using
VMWare as well... it's great! But no, as far as
I know, there is no debug facilities. I really
wish there was, myself.

However, check out VMWare 3.0 if you haven't yet.
They just released it, and I haven't had the chance
to check it out... it might have such a feature.
