Compatibility Issues

How come my code will work on my computer at home but when I try it at school, it either doesn't work or behaves funny. Why is this?

it could possibly be a number of things:

1) which processor did you code it for?
2) which processors are you using
3) BIOS calls might be different for the other BIOS? Any of the computers really old then really really new?

1) Intel 8086 = 386+

2) At home: a celeron and a pentium 233
At school: pentium 3

3) That is true depending on make and manufactuer: its either award or pheonix bios. At home, one is old and the other fairly new, at school it is farely new.

At home: Both Hp
At school: Gateway
