Intel hardcopies
Intel hardcopies
hard-copies of the Intel Manuals are availible again -- but its grown to 5 books now!!
they have split vol 3 into 2 parts now (presumably due to additional content relating to virtualization)
but the order form seems to be gone -- now you have to e-mail the request
just thought i would let everyone know that the new manuals are availible
ps: the link in my signature will take you straight to the download page, which contains a link to the ordering information (at the bottom of the page)

Re: Intel hardcopies
I received my manuals yesterday...it took them ~2.5 weeks to come.
Manual 3A-chapter 3 (or the whole book) should be required reading for posting on forums!

Re: Intel hardcopies
I noticed that deliver was free.. but do they deliver worldwide (to Australia?)
Re: Intel hardcopies
I'd guess so. They shipped it to Philly from Colorado...
Why don't you e-mail the address and find out? (It actually is a real person).

Re: Intel hardcopies
I just emailed the lady, and she's processing my order now. I find it really hard to believe that they would ship these completely free of charge. Maybe they come with printed advertising or something...
Re: Intel hardcopies
The fact that Intel is sending them is the advertising: you probably like Intel right about now, right? The only propaganda in the books is the bit about the Intel processor history; no harm in that, is there?
Re: Intel hardcopies
Hah! They are sending them to evry country for free ! I just get it by FedEx and I live in Poland - Center Europe . This books are beautifull, mmmm i can't stand! I need to read them now!.

Re: Intel hardcopies
Exactly! Why would Intel charge you if you want to develop the next-best-thing using their OS? It's in their best interest to make this information public.osprogram wrote:The fact that Intel is sending them is the advertising: you probably like Intel right about now, right? AMD does this, as well, of course.
