Another (better) way to boot?

Post by ua »

Hi everyone,

I am currently booting my kernel using GRUB, which works fine, but I would prefer to not have to select 'AaZaA Operating System' every time I start it up.

Is there a version of GRUB I can download that skips the menu, or could someone give me an ASM bootloader that can run 'aazaa.bin' and tell me how to compile and copy it to a floppy?

Thanks,
UberAAZ.

You could just set the timeout to like 1 second in the config file.

Thanks, works great.

In actual fact, I've set the timeout to 0 which means it boots pretty much instantly.
