Firefox is not showing the site icon on the tab. It used to be, so this has changed somewhat recently.

Huh, so it isn't. Well, I like this because it now shows the number of notifications you have. With an icon and a number in parentheses, there would be no room for even a hint of the topic name in my tabs. Yes, I do have too many tabs. 
Though I remember a time when I appreciated tab icons, and if I didn't have so many open tabs I would like to see it. There's no option to hide the number of notifications, so I don't know...

I have too many tabs too, but it is because of that reason I want an icon to give me a hint of the site it belongs to.
