Hello everyone, I am a 15-year-old middle school student. Currently, I am working with my friends on developing an x86 operating system kernel. We have encountered some minor issues and hope that capable and skilled experts can come forward to provide assistance and suggestions. You are very welcome! The current kernel implements the following functions: process scheduling (management), IDE hard disk driver, ATAPI optical drive driver, PS/2 keyboard driver, FPU floating-point processing, VGA basic display driver, ISA/PCI driver, timer, interrupt service, memory management, VT100, all fatfs, vfs, devfs, i2c, Chinese, ttf fonts, command auto-completion, history command invocation.

I have to admit I was in the process of not approving this post when it was accepted. I'll just share what my thoughts were on it:

I read that you were having problems getting people to help you. If you have a specific problem in your code that you need help with then you could ask about a specific issue you are having. I didn't see an actual question in your post and that is why I felt this was just advertising/spam.

I concur with Michael. The people here will be happy to help you with specific problems (most of the time), but we do not offer general consulting services. That sounds like actual work.

And the forum language is English. Few people here even speak Chinese, and I know first hand that machine translation can be unusable from English to German (two very similar languages), so I have no confidence for a translation from Chinese to English or back.

I see no problem with advertising an OS, per se; it happens all the time in that forum (that’s its purpose). As for language, if people don’t understand posts they will not be able to help; but that’s the OP’s problem, not ours. Who knows how many Chineses speakers there may be here - I don’t.
