Exploit qemu to display nyancat

I looked up JonesForth again today, and this was the latest post on the author's blog:

"qemu prints the error message from the server without sanitisation, so we can send terminal codes and more." I think it's funny and I can't see the harm, but there's a link to a (presumably serious) discussion about it in the blog post.
