The New Beginning(PhoenixOS dist.)
Just recently The owner of MenuetOS32bit has just closed the source and started a 64-bit OS off from the old code. Everyone involved in the main group still got to help but others like me didn't. So, we are starting a new dist. and it is to remain open source and free. I would like all the help I could get. Menuet is 100% Assembly and I know nothing about Assembly so I will only be the Project cordinator and I will leave the programming to the real programmers. I am a Low-Level programmer of the Top Level programming. I interface with windows the kernel alot. But kernel programming is out of my league right now. The New site is

No. What was open source will continue to be open source.hckr83 wrote:isn't that somehow illeagelrough a lot of backup files I keep and found all of the downloads for MenuetOS that I saw Fit to download at the time

Shouldn't this have been announced in the "Projects" forum?

Re: New MenuetOS
First I meant, I am not that good with assembly or c. I am a Pascal Programmer I know both Assembly and C but not well. I am by no means qualified to develop an OS. Not on my own.
Then I would like to let you know it is not illegal to continue an OpenSource Project. In the worst case it just becomes another Distrobution of the OS because the official Distrobution Died.
I have to get back to work so Talk with you later.
