Get ready for a plethora of USB questions

Post by austanss »

A certain YouTuber has accomplished a bit in his OSDev series.

He goes by the name of Poncho and his OS development series is rather advanced.

That being said, I was talking to him in a voice channel last night and he was talking about his accomplishments with xHCI.

He has accomplished PCI enumeration and those 2 videos are public on his channel. He will post a heap video soon, for patrons, and that will come out in a week.

But in 2 weeks, his video on xHCI will be out to the public...

A lot of people blindly follow his tutorials and make rebranded versions of his code, so get ready for a plethora of USB (xHCI) questions on this forum, come two weeks.

May that be for better or for worse.

I make stupid mistakes and my vision is terrible. Not a good combination.

NOTE: Never respond to my posts with "it's too hard".

I'm sure that you won't be posting such questions.

The standard response would be to recommend Ben Lunt's book on the subject: http://www.fysnet.net/aboutme.htm

I'm rather not interested in USB at this moment... so probably not.
