Why were my posts in this thread deleted? And for that matter, why was my account deleted?
I've been on these forums for years, and now my account was deleted without warning. What happened?

Apparently your account got caught in the spam cleanup (a lot of the spam posts weren't deleted, but were instead moved to a moderator-only board for eventual mass-deletion).

You should reinstate my account tbh
Why was my account deleted along with all my posts? Would really like to know considering I've been a good member of this community for years

Your account and posts were removed accidentally and chase is working to fix it, supposedly.

I think I might have many of your posts in the attached ZIP. I have also saved attachments (just tell me which files you want or the whole set), so if you lost your account after September, I could have your posts and files:

Hi mariuszp,
As thepowersgang mentioned, you got caught up in the spam cleanup. The odd thing is that I only removed users that had topics moved to a mostly spam forum and I verified that the most recent message from each user was spam. At least I think I did, the spam clean took place over a couple days of vacation at a place that had really bad satellite internet. It's possible that some page didn't load properly when I was viewing the content. Still, I'd suggest not using the same password as you previously had just in case the account was compromised.
Unfortunately, by the time you said something the rotating database backups had been overwritten. The most recent backup I had with your posts is from the end of 2018. I have restored all your (573) posts from 2010-2018 along with your PMs. I also restored your joined date.
I'm sorry it took so long (there is no partial restore so it it was a very manual process) and I'm sorry about the posts from 2019, I don't have any good options to restore those.
I've changed the backup schedule to reduce the frequency (was daily) to weekly but keeping a year of full backups (52) instead of just the past 7.
