Re: Upgrading Forum Software
Mind you, the age is relevant in one importance sense: support sunsetting. Support for phpBB 3.1.x ended on 31 January of this year, and I am quite sure that we're using something even older.

Chrome keeps reporting this page as highly unsafe. When I want to log in, it asks me if I am sure. I think this site should get updated with some fresh "https" protocols. Security is the first priority. Also there should be an option for users to import their own themes (locally).

Better security (at least no notorious vulnerability history as phpBB has), plugins/mods.matt11235 wrote:What useful things can SMF do that phpBB can't?dozniak wrote: It could be nice to move from phpBB to SMF of course, but i am dreaming.
But I really don't care if this forum gets hacked or some functionality is missing, so it's not a strong opinion.
