I have precisely followed Babystep 4 but when I run it in virtualbox I only get this:

OK. Where's your code? We can't just guess what you did wrong from the screenshot.
You know your OS is advanced when you stop using the Intel programming guide as a reference.

Looks like it should work; try single-stepping through it and see what happens after the first character is printed and while the 2nd character is being printed.TheFarmingBunny wrote:I have precisely followed Babystep 4

I just fixed a bug in the code (nearly a decade after it was first written!) so perhaps you should try again.
