Can't login to wiki

Hi, just created an account, added myself to wiki group, can't login to the wiki. Tells me I have given the wrong password.

It's definitely not the wrong password, I have literally copy+pasted it in to the forum login and it works, and then into the wiki and it doesn't work.

I shan't be able to try anything for probably an hour or something because I've been locked out of the wiki trying it over and over.

Is there some period of time I have to wait? Are there tighter restrictions on what passwords can be used on the wiki?

EDIT: It does say that my account is not registered on the wiki: My Wiki Profile

You need to add yourself to the wiki group in the forum profile. I can see in your forum user notes (as moderator) that you have done this.

The user page thing is odd. Perhaps it's because you haven't done the first edit yet?

Do you still have trouble? Please confirm, and I'll try to see what stuff I can do when privilege escalating to administrator.

I'm having the same issue, and I do see your account has since been created. Did you do anything or did it just take time? I have also followed the steps and joined the wiki group and get the same "incorrect password" prompt (with my user page claiming I haven't registered)

I do not know if this is related to your issues, but this Wiki uses an old version of a phpBB to MediaWiki bridge, which makes the first letter of your username uppercase. Try "Habibi" as a username and use your normal forum password. Does it work?

Was an good thought, but sadly it didn't work. Still can't login to the wiki.

That worked! My longer password (16) with special characters didn't work. I shortened it and removed special characters - not sure which did the trick. I left the wiki group and rejoined, and it worked immediately.

Now that you all know my wiki account isn't as secure...

You need to add yourself to the wiki user group before you can log into the wiki.

I've had a forum account for quite a while, but I never had considered an OSDev Wiki account. I've joined the 'wiki' user group, but what's next? Tried logging in with my forum credentials...is there a password issue possibly?

Does your password have special characters in it? I think there's an issue with certain special characters, although I don't have a list of exactly which ones cause problems.
