OS for AMD x86-64?

I'm planning to do my first OS, targeting for AMD64 64-bit mode only. Just wanted to check out, if there are others out there doing the same

Perhaps we could share and discuss and support each other - had a difficult time finding appropriate stuff on the net

I am two (well, i will) i need to rewrite the little 32bits only micro kernel i have started and port it to long mode

will be nice if we could share infos/tips
