Earthbound was such an excellent game.. I wish I kept track of SNES titles better when they were actually available in stores - I definitely would have bought a copy. Unfortunately, I found out about it only after I downloaded a whole bunch of ROMs from my friend. Another one of those great games I found was Chrono Trigger.. boy was I living under a rock. ::)

Chronotrigger was a great RPG (Akira Toriyama's drawings all look the same, if you ask me )

When it comes to FPS, DooM and maybe even Wolfenstein 3-D are higher in my book than "thinking mans shoot-em-ups" (wasting scores of dumb bad guys is alot more fun than wasting one or two smart guys)
