Website woes!

Post by beyondsociety »

I was deleting an old website off of tripod and after I did this, they said that it vilolated the terms and conditions of tripod and now I don't have a website host for my os project. Tripod.com is apart of lycos, anglefire, etc. I now can't ever use these web hosts!

Does anybody know of a free website host that allows you to post what ever you want, has no ads on the pages, and lets you delete old webpages?

I am really in a Jam here!

Try www.portland.co.uk . They don't allow warez or porn though.

Thanks, this website host is great. No pop ads or banners. The only thing I have to get used to is using a UK website host. But oh well!

I had some problems with trying to get my website up and running and being able to link to my ftp site. I finally have it working and boy is it great.

K.J, Thanks for suggesting www.portland.co.uk.

I now don't have to put up with tripod and the way it sets your site up.

www.0catch.com

Lots of adbanners and pop-up stuff, no compressed files (They're paranoid about people archiving... because we all trust free-sites with our data?), but 100MB.

Even 100 megs isn't worth sacraficing ZIP, RAR, LZH, and the like.
