Post Counters RANT

Hi,

I think all this useless posting just to get a higher status rating is pretty annoying.  I think the number of posts should be hidden and everybody be given the same status.  People should post something if they've got something to say.. not just to get a second star.

I've already missed one interesting thread because of all the "me too's" and "good idea"'s..

It can be quite annoying having people trying to bring their ranks up by posting especially when they just post one word like "cool" in their post. As for me I don't really care about my rank I am just here to talk about AGI.

I'll have a look into it on the weekend. it will involce some perl hacking  ??? hehehe but i think i can remove it from messages. seeing 100 'thats cool' messages is a bit annoying.

I thought that keeping people from posting for no reason besides getting a higher rank was supposed to stopped by the moderators. Am I wrong in thinking that they should be stopping the ongoing cool posts.

I don't mean delete them I mean tell them not to do it anymore. If you don't tell them they just keep on doing it.
