24bit RGB color , without VESA

Post by hrm »

Hello , I'm trying to reach to the true color mode at long mode. how can I reach that without VESA?
I know that VESA does not work at 64bit mode (is it true?)

You have emulators to cover the VESA case where V8086 is not available.

Otherwise, resort to UEFI or writing native drivers.
