Dear Chinese people & others,
The LINUX genious "Zhao Jiong" (He is a real Teacher) written the book named "A Heavily Commented Linux Kernel Source Code" for LINUX version 0.11.
It is a obsolute guide for LINUX kernel beginers.
I request you, (Chinese people / other people those who are having converter) to covert this PDF file in English and upload it somewhere for other language students.
The book (PDF) url is http://www.oldlinux.org/download/clk011c-3.0.pdf
Some of you may refer other books, but I feel this one is the better one for beginers, I have translated few pages those are awesome explanation about LINUX.

Re: Need Chinese translation for this amazing book for begin
Ah... some things become clearer now.
Hint #1: Change the subject of your first post to read "Chinese-to-English". It took me a second to realize you want to give this resource to the general populace, instead of asking to have it translated to Chinese. The flame trigger was itching.
Hint #2: Fill out the "Location" field in your user profile. Seeing where you come from might help others on this board to take it easy when your English isn't perfect. (There is more to the language barrier than not understanding - misunderstanding, especially of undertones, can have even worse consequences.)

Every good solution is obvious once you've found it.

Re: Chinese->English translation need for this Linux book
Maybe google translate will do the trick
"Programmers are tools for converting caffeine into code."
Re: Chinese->English translation need for this Linux book
I'm not sure how effective this is to translate a documentation of that old kernel version. The linux kernel changes so fast these days and it has been changed so much since the first version that it is not a very good idea to try and study modern linux from that book. Maybe just as a reference to a unix-like system but I'm not sure how relevant this will still be.
Re: Chinese->English translation need for this Linux book
you can translate it , then not need to request others to convert it .
Re: Chinese->English translation need for this Linux book
Better learn chinese. There is more comming in the future.

Hello osdevkid,
There is this book written by an Indian guy : Linux kernel 0.01 commentry. We Indians would have difficulty in speaking to people from other states in India if we do not know English ( or atleast broken English) .
