If I had any revolutionary ideas, I would patent them, and then licence them to Microsoft. Unfortunately I haven't, so I will have to remain poor.

Add 3D gesture controls.
*does not want to know how many hard-to-make drivers you need for that entire pipeline to work*

3D user interfaces would be easier, as you can skip the USB/camera/Computer Vision steps and stick with simple PS/2 equipment and a VESA card as far as drivers are concerned - both needing relatively little effort to get working.

Add to this, the ability to bring the OS out of standby (if you have that) and automatically login if it recognizes your face (if you have user accounts in your OS). Maybe if your mentor would like to invest in a HD stereoscopic webcam you could work out a way to control the cursor on screen with your eyes and blinking to initiate clicks? I'm not sure that this has been done ;)

Hi,

It needs to have "new features", but nothing so far says those new features need to be sane or useful.

How about, you generate a random number, and if the user presses a key that corresponds to that random number, you display the goatse image? I'm sure no other OS has this feature...

Cheers,

Brendan

Hi,

Please ask sensible, intelligent questions. Please also phrase your questions in coherent English. While I'm aware that English is not your first language, this is the case for the majority in these forums and poor grammar and spelling only heightens comprehension difficulties cross-language.

These are all displayed on the forum rules, as is the line about not trolling or feeding trolls.

I'm looking at you, people above ^^^^^^!

Cheers,

James
