No, not sarcastic, but immature. The thing is that you want something (bytecode UDI) because you like the idea (for whatever reasons) but defend the concept with faulty reasons (optimizing driver code, changing instruction sets) and when this is pointed out to you, you either don't understand it or don't want to understand it, and start repeating your faulty reasons, using faulty reasoning in the process.
