Email problems

Post by chase »

The forums use a GMail account to sent mail. This includes notifying you about replies in watched topics and the email activation for new users. It's broken right now.

Last week some time Google decided that all the mail coming from the forum was spam and refused to send any of it. I made a new account yesterday in the hopes that it would last a while but it is already disabled.

I switched to using a GMail account because when using my own mail server several people would have the emails from my server flagged as spam. I need to figure out what I'm going to do with the email setup here. For the short term I'm disabling the mail features of the board.

Intriguing, especially because of the nifty other domains.
