No, as other's have pointed out, it still works fine with other OS's, as they only check the first fat, i am also sure that most moden OS would not be able to use the second fat even if the first became corrupted ( i may be wrong ), but data recovery software could.jal wrote:Which means that the disk is unreadable by any other OS? You could also look at it, in that if Your "hobby OS" corrupted the first FAT, you have a backup of the second FAT.
