Hi! I heared that I can set VESA modes using VBE Patched GRUB. I even heared that there is 0.94 or 0.97 Patched GRUB. But Has got somebody Windows Image(e.g. to open it in WinImage) of this? I searched in Google - there is a lot of stuff, but or only sources, or only Linux stuff. And how can I set the VESA mode? (e.g. in menu.cfg?) Or there is another way?
Thanks for any help.
VBE Pathced GRUB
VBE Pathced GRUB
Don't think a ****, but in ukrainian schools English is TOO BAD!
Re: VBE Pathced GRUB
Actually GRUB documentation tells you how to do this (check multiboot standard, the kernel image itself can tell whether it wants a graphics mode) but I believe the patched GRUB also had a command. Somebody with experience gotta tell you though, 'cos I never found a working patched GRUB version.djsilence wrote:Hi! I heared that I can set VESA modes using VBE Patched GRUB. The real problem with goto is not with the control transfer, but with environments. Properly tail-recursive closures get both right.
