Here you go, Pype: http://www.tabos.org/

By the way, I'm not too happy about clicking on a big American flag to access the English version of the site. I speak English because I'm from England, not America.

I'll second that. Anyway, looks promising.

Come a long way since I last looked (several years ago when it was v. simple - or am I remembering another oS?)

Keep up the good work.

Pete

PS I agree a UK flag would be better

i have a strange message saying "##BUG##" (file=sema.c, line 213) somewhere in early initialization (just when the blue bar appears) keys ALT+F5..F9 seems responding. i get plenty of 'hanling nonpresent pagetable" messages.

Consoles TTY1-3 are full of dots (appear to be redrawing)

Your lucky that it's not by Microsoft. as "##BUG##" would be "##FEATURE##" (and I'm not joking!)

aye, that's their claim *rofl*

What would Microsofts heirs say to this lore of today's microsoft marketeers?

Indeed

On my last course at college, one of the lecturers used to work in Microsoft's tech support department and she was never allowed to say the word bug, always feature.

What are the commands for TabOs? I mean, how do you use it? I've tried so many key combinations and still only see the first screen (console) the one that has TTY 10 at the bottom.

iirc, i used CTRL+Fx to switch consoles, but i wasn't able to type any commands. Only some pre-programmed commands bound to ALT+F5 through ALT+F9

hi, sorry for the delay.

1. we will change the flag thing :D
2. if you have got the dots on the first three consoles, everything is ok, atleast for this developer image floppy (we had to disable the consoles due a stack bug)
3. the BUG messages and non present pagetable messages are fine, those messages should be on kernel console (tty10).
4. there are still some debug functions to test f5-f10 on tty10
5. it would be nice if you all could send your questions also to our board, because this one is checked everyday instead of this board twice a month. sry
6. and yes, we were this little small os some years ago, but we've grown. :))
