RTL8139 programming wiki

Post by 01000101 »

Hi, I just added a programming how-to for the basic setup of the RTL8139 chipset. Just finished mine completely and decided to share some of the barebone startup code to help others.

If you have time, please read it over and tell me (or edit it) if you find any code or grammatical errors.

I cleaned it up a bit, if you don't mind.

lol thanks for correcting the 8k thing.
I hope I didn't put that in my actual code... that would not be good.

For you who have got RTL8139 working - could you add some more info to the RTL8139 wiki page? I'm not getting it to work with the info solely from the wiki.

Any info will help a lot!

I'll also appreciate any extra information than the wiki's one.

Cheers,
Gonzalo
