This is was digg or reddit yesterday and it was a really good read. It details intels plans for the next year or so. The cool parts from is that they have expanded the current core 2 architecture to handle 8 cores and that they revamped the HyperThreading scheme so that each core gets an L1 and L2 cache and share a 8MB L3 cache which should help stop the cores from abusing each others cache so badly. There is alot more cool stuff in the slides so I wont ruin it all.
