Back in the game

Post by pini »

Hi all,

It's really been a while since the last time I even visited this forum. Something like a year or two.

For an unknown reason, I felt like I need some osdev-ing the other day. So I took an important decision: I'll wake up my past knowledge and start building a new kernel.

So, special hello to the old known fellows (I saw posts from Candy and Colonel Kernel up and there, sorry for the others I missed). Is Pipe.Clicker still playing around ?

Don't think you can. Know you can.

Good luck...
The man who follows the crowd will usually get no further than the crowd.
The man who walks alone is likely to find himself in places
no one has ever been before.

Heh... Yeah, I did that just a month or two ago - I started a new kernel in C++, spent a few hours on it and then stopped when my IDT wasn't working... But I'm back (again) and hopefully now I'll get a bit further!
