I am trying to create a sort of Windows shell using Resource Hacker, similar to the project found at http://osx.portraitofakite.com/index2.htm , but i don't know where to start. I want to replace the GUI with one of my own, as well as the bootscreen, sound effects, maybe add animated cursors, and incorporate WindowFX, uberIcon, and Object Dock, but just don't know where to get started, or even where the required resources are located at in the WINDOWS directory for Windows XP. Any takers?
