Partcopy

Post by crazygray1 »

I want to make my computer so that it can multi-boot my OS. At the moment I'm trying to get my bootloader on to the bootsector of the second partition of my hardrive. How would I use partcopy to do that?
I haven't found much documentation on it.

My little fellow, PARTCOPY.EXE is not for your hands. ;) It's not permitted for persons under 18 years of age. :P [/sarcasm]

If used incorrectly you can clobber your entire hard disk. You should use WinImage or such. And with floppies.

If you would just raw write the bootsector to the partition, it WILL -in your case especially- have catasthropical results. Bear my words in your mind please, or else. :P
