half of the work done! (i have grub image)

i downloaded grub_image.img and i tried it with bochs it is working and showing me a menu to chose among oses but i can't link the file kernel.bin
i tried to add them with a program called makeboot from but bochs showed me the message:
Booting 'My Kernel'

root (fd0)
Filesystem type is fat, using whole disk
kernel /boot/kernel.bin

Error 15: File not found

Press any key to continue...
what program should i use to add the image file with the kernel i am sorry to make new topic but there is someone is annoying me there he said that i am lazy to do the easy work then what i will do the the rest any way i am sorry for bothering you and hope that i can solve this problem soon

i know that there is a directory it's name is boot where the kernel should be placed and a menu configuration file that i should put the name of the kernel in it i am totally lost i don't know where should i put this configuration file or don't i need it although the image is already here ?

You really don't want to look at the GRUB menu which tells you EXACTLY how to do it, do you?

the solution is so simple and all thanks due to MessiahAndrw thank you buddy i downloaded a grub image -i don't need to make one - then open this image with WinImage that Andrw recommended me to use then i added the file kernel.bin to the directory A:\boot then i saved all this crap then i used it with bochs and it worked hehehehe without even asking you for anything you know what by the way i tried makeboot before reviewing your post - when you offered help - but it didn't work then i read it - i knew that we think with the same way hahahaha- then i tried WinImage and it worked thank you Andrwwwwwwwww and not thank you raevin or may be thank you cause you were my motive hahahahaha see you soon in another trouble ..or i may show you my scanf function that i am working on right now > : D <

Get something like VFD (on Windows) or create a Loopback_Device and access the image via your host OS. Then put your kernel.bin into the "boot" folder on the virtual drive.

indeed ? okay mr shakespeare you didn't do anything for me at all and i am using google mostly all the time i used it to download winimage i used it to download nasm i used it to download djgpp i used it to download tutorials about os developing i reviewed a lot of forums documents and so on about grub !! .....the only one who did is messiahandrew and i said thanks to him i even thanked you for being my motive because you evoked me .......i have a deed now that i am not wasting your time at all do you know why ?because you are so free to answer me every time if you really a busy man you would ignore me!

don't you think that that crap that you are saying is useless cause i am done with that part of grub now i am really developing bran's kernel i added more functions to move the cursor and to use the keyboard with a good manner and i am working on changing the font map to write arabic : P
