I could not boot it, probobly my video card is a problem. After starting grub, the screen went black with some strange mixure of colors at the very top of the screen.

I have Maxtor Graphics Millenium G200 AGP.

That's probably because your card doesn't support LFB. Please check whether your graphics card is VBE 2.0 or above compatible and does it support LFB.
